Fiona FisherMassage Therapist

Fiona is  qualified as an Advanced Clinical Massage Therapist. She is also qualified as a Sports Massage therapist and is a member of the Sports Massage Association. She specialises in the treatment of common pain conditions such as sciatica, shoulder injury, lower back pain, knee pain and plantar fasciitis as well as sports massage. She discovered the benefits of massage when becoming a parent to support her to be calm, healthy and meet the demands of young children.

Fiona offers a therapeutic experience that provides you with the time to reconnect mind and body and blends the best of advanced bodywork techniques including trigger point, fascial work, acupressure, stretching and a follow-up self-care plan. This fantastic blend of techniques will help decrease stress or tension, increase range of motion and decrease pain.

Fiona takes a holistic client based approach to your session completing orthopaedic assessments prior to your treatment. Fiona is registered with CNHC. Please check your Private Health Cash Plan provider to confirm whether they recognise CNHC registration for reimbursement.

Fiona is also a Clinical Herbalist and jointly runs The Plant Medicine School Northern UK delivering blended adult education in herbal medicine. In her spare time she loves to be outdoors foraging wild food, cycling and swimming in the beautiful waters of East Lothian.
