KNEE, HIP AND JOINT PAIN
The body works as a whole. The movement that we make in one part of the body has an impact on other parts of the body.
For example, if your hips are stiff or your feet are inflexible, you’ll move the bit in the middle (your knees) in an awkward way to compensate.
You might hyperextend or “lock” your knees. Our Pilates Coaching can help you to stand and walk differently to avoid t his happening and take pressure away from the joints.
You might have a niggly knee or hip or you might have developed arthritis in the knee or hip. Our Pilates coaching and Massage can’t fix arthritis, but both can help you to move more easily in other joints or other parts of the joint so you’re not relying on the arthritic section so much. This will help you avoid more arthritis in other joints.
Sore wrists and carpal tunnel can often be caused by moving the wrists or the arms in an awkward way. Our Massage can help relieve the symptoms of sore wrists and carpal tunnel and our Pilates Coaching can help you to move in a way that takes pressure away from the hand and wrist.
