Emma TaylorYin Yoga Teacher

Emma teaches Yoga that’s all about slowing down, feeling better in your body, and making space for a bit of calm. As someone who lives with chronic pain, Yoga became a gentle, positive way for her to reconnect with her body, and now she loves sharing that with others. Her Yin Yoga classes are gentle, welcoming, and no one cares if you can touch your toes or stand on one leg. Come as you are—you’ll breathe, stretch, and maybe even enjoy yourself…

Emma’s Yin Yoga offers something a little different from the more dynamic styles you may have experienced. It’s a deeply nourishing practice that targets the ligaments, joints, and fascia through long-held, gentle stretches. The benefits can be profound—increased mobility and flexibility, better sleep, greater mental clarity—but at its heart, Yin is about giving yourself permission to slow down. It’s a chance to step away from the hustle of daily life, take a deep breath, and reconnect with your body.

Accessibility is at the core of Emma’s classes. Whether you’re brand new to yoga, returning after a break, or simply unsure if you can touch your toes—you are warmly welcome, just as you are. You’ll spend a peaceful hour, moving gently and leaving class feeling more grounded, spacious, and refreshed.

Equipment:

Wear comfy clothes you can stretch in, we won’t be building heat in the body so if you’re prone to the cold feel free to bring layers (although the studio is heated!). We want you to be comfortable.

We’ll provide mats & bolsters, although if you’d like to bring your own yoga equipment you’re more than welcome. You may also like to bring a blanket for our closing Savasana.
