Why your body loves massage
Often, we see massage as a treat, something you don’t actually need but simply enjoy. Massage is great for your body and relieving you of those everyday aches and pains. It also helps prevent future injuries and pain.
A great deal of the tension you feel in your body and particularly your shoulders is caused by stress. Stress can also affect your heart and your blood pressure. Working out muscle tension during a massage makes chronic pain, as well as acute or short-term stress, much easier to overcome.
Many of us suffer from bad posture. A good massage loosens muscles and joints to reinforce the body’s natural movements.
